Introduction:
This is the most remarkable , low cost tracking unit we've seen. That's why we've put our name to it.
The Bavl 03 is not just a vehicle tracker. The additional inputs and outputs enable you to not only monitor the position of the vehicle, but also the status of things like the ignition and/or the doors as well as an option to shut the engine down if a theft is in progress. Bavl 03 is compact and robust enough to be fitted on any vehicle fulfilling any type of role. It is ideal for tracking any cars, boats, trucks and agricultural and plant machinery, giving you the reassurance that your valuable assets are being monitored no matter what their location.
This unit is very common from single user to the fleet management user who is cost consious. The system once fitted and used via your mobile phone (sms) has no ongoing monthly fees and only charges the normal text rate that your phone provider charges when it sends a text to you at your command. When you need to know where your vehicle is all you do is call it and it returns with up to the minute details eg, sim number, time, date, ignition on or off, speed of vehicle (can set it to text you if goes over a selected speed or outside a certain area) and the co-ordinates of where it is. All you need to do is input the co-ordinates onto a sat nav, or free web site eg. google maps or google earth , please see below. The system uses a gsm sim card, we do recommend a pay monthly sim as to give unlimited time, but you can use a ready to go gsm sim from a network provider of your choice.
These units work anywhere in the world and can be used by your mobile (gps/sms) or by a constant web based platform for constant tracking (gprs).
The Bavl 03 comes complete, ready to wire into your vehicle. The only thing you need to add is a SIM card.
Tracking Data:
Full operating instructions are provided with the device showing the different commands to send the unit for the different functions . That said the simple way to locate the unit is to simply call the sim number inside and the unit will automaticly text you the location coordinates (Latitude and Longtitude) along with other information like speed and date/time. Below is an example of the coordinates highlighted in yellow and entered into google maps.

Google also provides a facility called street view and sooming further in will show actual pictures of the area were the unit is located….
The above three pictures show how the tracking data would look like in google maps (located at http://maps.google.com). You can also view the tracking data on Microsoft Virtual Earth (located at http://maps.live.com) , Google Earth (located at http://earth.google.com) or simply entering the coordinates into your sat nav. For Gprs Constant tracking you can log into our online server to manage tracking. After a purchase you will be given a username and password along with the web address details.

For real time tracking it is best to set this device to report its position every 20 seconds or every 60 seconds. If you're not interested in real time tracking you can set this report interval to bigger values (like 24 hours , 48 hours,1 week or longer). Setting the report interval to bigger values is important if you only want to know the position of the asset you're tracking just every now and then.
