Tyre Pressure Monitoring System - TPMS

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System - TPMS for all Trucks / Truck Trailers. These TPMS come equipped with LEDs to visually alert you when your tyre pressure drops by 5psi - 9psi. When the tyre is inflated fully, screwing the cap on calibrates to this pressure - when this pressure falls below 5-9psi the LED will intermittantly red blink to alert the driver.

The LED cap battery can last up to two years in standby mode, and can support LED light blinks for up to 6 weeks, until the cap is removed from the tyre valve.

Technical Data

• 1 Bar underinflation in every tyre can cost £900 of fuel per year and the tyre carcass can be lost for retreading. 
• Tyre rolling resistance is heavily dependent on inflation pressure.
• A 1 bar deviation from the nominal inflation pressure could lead to a 5% difference in rolling resistance, which may result in a significant fuel cost increase.
• For optimum rolling resistance, it’s important to have the tyres inflated correctly, as recommended for the respective axle loads. In addition, underinflation may have negative effects on tyre durability and can cause failure.
